This is a just renovated and restored cottage on the banks of the beautiful River Idrijca in the village of Slap ob Idrijci.
With three bedrooms sleeping 6. One fantastic main bedroom with high ceilings, another good sized room and a further room on the top floor with two singles.
Country style kitchen and living area with direct views onto the river below and hills opposite.
Terrace area and garden for summer nights.
Situated in the centre of the village with shop and restaurant.
Wonderful cosy living room with fireplace and dining area, direct access to the terrace.
Main bedroom has four poster bed and fireplace in the room, french doors open to the river views.
Second bedroom has Queen size bed and views to the river too with french doors.
Third bedroom has two singles, with low ceilings so maybe best for Children.
Two bathrooms, one on ground floor with bath and shower and one of first floor with large shower.
Beautiful fully equipped kitchen also with river views.
Outside terrace with dining table and chairs and BBQ area.
You can drive to the house and unload but parking is in the local shop car park about 20 metres away.
Pets – Pets are welcome, but you must complete the booking form stating whether any pets are included in the booking. We only accept a maximum of 2 dogs, it can be 1 large and 1 small, or 2 small. If you are unsure please contact us for clarification. Thank you.
Cancellation policy: Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 14-30 days before check-in. No refund after that.

"Als gezin met vier zoons was dit een geweldige plek. Ze konden heerlijk spelen en zwemmen in de naastgelegen rivier, hiken in de directe omgeving en nieuwe dieren ontdekken. Als ouders genoten wij van de rust, ruimte en houtkachel. De host had het goed voor elkaar met de stijlvolle inrichting en zelfs een welkomstgeschenk! Voor het ontbijt konden we de nodige spullen bij het naastgelegen winkeltje halen, de rest haalden we in Tolmin. Voor het diner is de keuken zeer ruim voorzien van het nodige kookgerei en kruiden. En anders hadden we een ruime keuze uit goede restaurants in de omgeving. We hebben dus een prettige ervaring gehad tijdens ons verblijf." (5 out of 5 )

"Tolles Haus in wunderschöner Umgebung. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Das Haus war prima ausgestattet mit Allem was man für den täglichen Bedarf benötigt. "Tolles sauberes Haus, genau wie auf den Bildern. Sehr idyllisch gelegen. Restaurant gleich nebenan, wo man super Pizza essen kann. Kleiner Laden ebenfalls nebenan, wo man schnell Brot kaufen kann. Ein öffentlicher Badeplatz ist nicht weit. Ich war beinahe täglich im Fluss schwimmen. Insgesamt ein super schöner Aufenthalt." (5 out of 5 )

"The house is beautiful and located right on the river. The house is comfortable and has all you need for a home away from home. We used the fireplace daily and made the stay cozy. Across the river there is easy walking along the river. The grocery shop in town has all the basics you need. The other nearby towns are 30-40 minutes away. "Wir haben uns in dem stilvoll eingerichteten Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet und wir haben jeden Abend gekocht und draußen gesessen. "Beautiful space, and the swimming hole nearby was divine, with rocks to skip and jump off of. So many things to do within a 20 - 30 min drive. Loved the lullaby of the river every day:). "A great house! You immediately feel at home. It is very cozy and the direct location on the river with great views makes the house a special place. For smaller purchases such as fresh baked goods for breakfast, you can reach a small supermarket within 2 minutes (located above the house). On the parking lot of the supermarket, you can also safely park your car. It is not possible to park directly at the house. This is not a problem if you are not physically limited. The environment is very quiet. The nearby restaurant was closed during our stay. Larger supermarkets can be found in Tolmin (about 15 minutes by car). "Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht, dass das Haus in Wirklichkeit genauso schön ist, wie es die Bilder versprochen haben. Es ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alles war sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist ein geräumiges Haus mit zwei Schlafzimmern im 1. OG, jeweils mit Doppelbett, eines mit Waschbecken und einem Badezimmer mit Dusche. Unten ist Wohnzimmer, Küche und Badezimmer mit Badewanne/Dusche und Waschmaschine/-trockner. Im zweiten OG befindet sich ein Schlaftzimmer mit zwei Eintelbetten in der Dachschräge. Dort wird es schon recht warm, es gibt aber eine gut und schnell funktionierende Klimaanlage. Wir hatten einen direkten Zugang zum Fluss und eine tolle Aussicht. Im Haus war alles wichtige vorhanden, insbesondere auch in der Küche. Handtücher und Bettzeug war ausreichend vorhanden, auch Lappen und Geschirrtücher. Die "Housekeeperin" war immer erreichbar, extrem freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Es gibt einen kleinen Supermarkt, direkt neben dem Parkplatz, das Restaurant hat leider (scheinbar dauerhaft) geschlossen. Die Lage ist schön. Zum Ein- und Ausladen haben wir uns nicht getraut den engen Weg mit dem Auto zu fahren und mussten deshalb unser Gepäck etwas weiter tragen. Es gibt schöne Rad- und Wanderwege in der Nähe." "Das Ferienhaus lies nichts zu wünschen übrig. Sehr gute Ausstattung, sehr gut gelegen zu den Attraktionen der Gegend, guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und für Fahrradtouren. Für die Kinder war der Fluss direkt am Haus das Beste. Trotz, dass es nicht so schönes Wetter war, ließen sie es nicht nehmen zu der kleinen Insel im Fluss zu laufen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Um nicht zu vergessen…Anteja, sie stand uns bei jeder Frage sofort zur Seite (ob Haus oder Ausflugsziele,oder…oder) und war zu jeder Zeit sehr freundlich!! Wir kommen gerne wieder!" (5.0 out of 5 )
