Reka Farmhouse has just been renovated to a high standard and offers 5 bedrooms, sleeping 10 people, a river running through the garden, a pool, sauna and 10 hectares of land

Laid out over three floors on the ground floor there is a lovely dining area with antique dining table and chairs, wood burning fireplace. The Dining area is connected to the new fully equipped kitchen. The rear door leads to the BBQ area with views over the pool and river. There is also a WC on this floor.
The First floor comprises of three bedrooms and a large bathroom with bath and very large shower and double sinks. The main bedroom has a large antique bed with original floors, There are then two further twin bedrooms. From the dining area is a fabulous, large, covered balcony with dining table and seating area as well as fireplace for the evenings if needed. Stairs lead down to the pool and sauna area.
The Top floor consists of a large open plan living area with fireplace, a bar area with refrigerator and sink. There is another double bedroom and bathroom room as well. Table football for use of the guests.
Underneath the fantastic wooden balcony there is a large wood fired sauna and relaxing area with hanging bed and chairs.

Next to the house is the barn, but this is not used.
There are hiking trails through the forests many following the river which are beautiful in all seasons.

Other things to note
This is a Natural pool (around which a safety fence has recently been erected) so guests need to expect that in a natural environment, the pool is a living, breathing sanctuary. Water is of course, constantly pumped and filtered and is sparkling clean but you can at certain times expect to see insects, baby frogs or very small harmless leaches or algae…this is all part of a Natural pool.
The owners & managers are not responsible for any damages or incidents that take place in the natural pool or its immediate vicinity. Using the natural pool is done so solely at the renters responsibility. All children must be supervised at all times and adequate care and attention provided by those renting the property. Pool is open during summer months. By Booking this property you and all those staying in the house accept these conditions.
Pets – Pets are welcome, but you must complete the booking form stating whether any pets are included in the booking. We only accept a maximum of 2 dogs, it can be 1 large and 1 small, or 2 small. If you are unsure please contact us for clarification. Thank you.
Cancellation policy: Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 14-30 days before check-in. No refund after that.

"The house was great for 10 people (8 adults and 2 children) on a winter holiday! Lots of spaces to either sit together or have time to yourself. Very peaceful surrounds with areas to walk/drive. We were there for Xmas so the kitchen and dining area were ideal - especially as many local places were closed on the holidays. The sauna and fireplaces were very welcomed in the cold days/nights! "Warm and cozy house near the river. The house is situated in a very peaceful and calm place… falling asleep while listening to the sound of the river - magnificent experience. "Wir haben die ruhige Lage und das gut ausgestattete Haus sehr genossen und hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub. Der Schwimmteich wurde täglich ausführlich genutzt und im angrenzenden Bach (sehr erfrischend ;-)) konnten wir uns beim Bau von Staustufen abkühlen. "Wir haben mit 4 Erwachsenen und 5 Kindern (10-15 Jahre alt) eine wunderschöne Woche im Haus am Fluss verbracht! Die Fotos zeigen, wie schön es ist! Naturteich und Bach boten für alle Erfrischung. Die Terrasse mit den Sofas und dem großen Tisch ist für uns das Highlight gewesen! Die Lage ist ganz ruhig und etwas abgelegen, aber mit dem Auto kommt man gut überall hin! "This place is really lovely. The house itself is nicely decorated, well-equipped and spacious but the outdoor space is particularly great. We spent most of our time on the lovely terrace overlooking the gardens and paddling about in the river at the end of the garden. Where we encountered issues or had questions, the hosts were extremely responsive. Plus, the area around the Airbnb is spectacular with loads of brilliant day and half-day trips to lakes, gorges and riverside beaches - perfect for a holiday with 3 under 5s and a dog!
