A wonderful chalet with 2 bedrooms on Vogel ski resort. Superb hiking country in Summer and Ski from the front door in Winter.
Two cosy double bedrooms, bathroom with shower, open plan living dining and kitchen.
Sweet balcony and garden.
We can supply starter pack with food basics by arrangement.
As standard we also supply an electric bread maker and bread mixes to avoid daily trips to supermarkets, water and cooking essentials such as salt, pepper, oil etc.
An adventure in both seasons. You need to leave your car at the gondola base station in Bohinj as no cars can reach the Vogel resort, then catch the Gondola up to the resort which takes around 4 minutes. Gondola runs every 30 mins.
The Gondola operations time is changing but a rough guide is:
Summer season: from 8AM – 6.30PM
Winter season: from 8AM – 16PM

There are 2 restaurants on the mountain. Please note that opening times are not guaranteed because they are flexible depending on demand (if there are not many people around, they close), as well as staff availability, weather conditions, and gondola operations. We recommend contacting them directly if you wish to visit, to ensure that they are open (details are available online):
Viharnik is typically open 10am – 6pm.
Orlove Glave is typically open 9am – 4pm
The house is approx. 350 metres walking distance from the upper gondola station. You need to walk to the house, but in winter you can order a snow mobile for the luggage (not included in price of house)
Pets – Pets are welcome, but you must complete the booking form stating whether any pets are included in the booking. We only accept a maximum of 2 dogs, it can be 1 large and 1 small, or 2 small. If you are unsure please contact us for clarification. Thank you.
Cancellation policy: Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 14-30 days before check-in. No refund after that.

"Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf op Mount Vogel. De omgeving is prachtig en het huisje is een goede uitvalsbasis voor zowel bergwandelingen als andere activiteiten aan het prachtige Lake Bohinj. Het huisje heeft handige faciliteiten (broodmachine die we dagelijks gebruikt hebben, fleece dekentjes voor 's avonds in de zetel, pantoffeltjes, ...). Het is ook heel net en gezellig. We vonden het enkel jammer dat je vanuit het huisje niet echt een mooi uitzicht hebt. Maar verder is het echt top en de omgeving is er prachtig. We kregen vooraf veel info en we werden zeer vriendelijk verder geholpen. Bedankt voor ons fantastische verblijf. Wij raden deze host heel zeker aan." (5 out of 5 )

"We stayed for 3 nights in the chalet. It’s very nice, especially in the touristic summer period to catch the vogel cable gondola to deconnect. Once arrived at the top it’s very peacefull and in the morning you hear the birds singing through the open windows. The kids slept very well in the soft and comfortable beds. The very kind person named Marjeta who managed our arrival is also worth to be named in the whole picture. We are very thankfull for every single thing she did for us!" (4.0 out of 5 )

"highly recommend. location superb and incredible for skiing enthusiasts. two topics. first, getting to the chalet. it is a decent walk - 500m or so - but with groceries, luggage and ski equipment it was challenging. however, a ride for your equipment can be obtained at a fee from the ticket office at the top. this for winter was highly recommended. second, the amenities of the chalet are very generous and there is everything a person could require for cooking and entertaining. all in all, a highly recommended location."
